Welcome to the Home of the RC Army

The Rockin' Cocks started as a three man pump team at a local Charlottesville paintball tournament in 2006. Since then the Rockin' Cocks have expanded to a full roster and network of teams across the world. The RC Army represents that family of pump players made up of the Rockin' Cocks, The RC Revolution (Northern VA), RC Red Star (Australia) and RC Sweden.

We play all kinds of paintball but what we love is playing tournaments with pumps. We don't care what the other team is shooting as long as we've got our pumps...we are having a good time.

Check out or rosters, videos, pics and propaganda. If you like what you see...or even if you don't...leave a comment and let us know what you think.

RC in X3

This isn't the first time RC has been mentioned in an online rag, but we still welcome the publicity.

CFOA Homecoming

So about two weeks or so a combined Rockin’ Cocks and RC Revolution team competed in the CFOA Homecoming event at PBC in Greensboro, NC. The field was a throwback to yesteryear as it was on a hyperball field. The field itself was two combined 5-man fields however they combined them to make one and then split it horizontally. There was a large snake on one side and what can only be described as a wall on the other. With such a large snake you would have figured players would have been all over it, but the crush and run ground made diving impossible. With that said this made for ether very defensive games or overly aggressive ones, however there was a limiting factor in all of this and I’ll get to that a bit later.

The combined RC squad consisted of Dana, Scott (Rev) and I. With RC there were a total of 7 teams competing at this event with the favorites being RC and CPC (Custom Pump Creations). The prelims were 7 games center flag with a 3 minute time limit. For the most part everything went off well, with the exception of the CFOA truck showing up an hour late due to running out gas. But once it got there it was business as usual. RC was the second game of the day and it was against CPC. Both teams came out strong, but RC got a K off the break and then a second K fairly quick. Rayn (CPC) got me going down the snake, however Scott shot him a second later and RC broke the curse of losing the first game. Our next game was against Rock, Paper, Scissors and their aggressive play and the horrible paint made the moves possible and gave them the win. By the end of the prelims RC was 5-2 and advancing to the semi-finals ranked 3rd by 20pts. However a scheduling error gave Freakshow only 6 games and with them and Rainbow Pump Squad were only separated in points by 1 game, so after a debate it was clear all teams would advance to the quarter finals with the 1st place team Fluffy Bunnies getting a bye to the semi’s.

The quarter finals did not fare well for RC as we played Rainbow pump squad who was ranked 6th in the prelims won two straight to advance to the semi’s. Game 1 both teams started off strong, however the ongoing paint problems plagued us and Rainbow was able to pull out the win, when they pulled a run through on Dana and I after my gun went down. Game 2 started with both teams 3 up, however RC tried a run through and got shot. Then Rainbow countered, got shot, but a ref reversed the call stating Dana got shot 1st by a different Rainbow player, which left me in a 2 on 1. I shot one played as he moved, however according to the ref I hit him but no paint remained so they left him in. After this call, my gun went down again due to the paint and Rainbow ran me down ending it for RC.

The rest of the quarters and semi’s were upset after upset. As CPC and Rainbow Pump Squad made it to the finals, despite being ranked 5th and 6th going into the quarters, both Fluffy Bunnies and Rock, Paper, Scissors got knocked down to playing for 3rd and 4th. All said in done CPC won the event in 2 games, giving them their first win of the season and the overall season title.
Overall RC had a great event and we got 5th overall. We look forward to playing the CFOA next season. We would like to thank all the teams that showed up (Fluffy Bunnies, Freakshow, CPC, Rainbow Pump Squad, Rock, Paper, Scissors, and Heros in a Half Shell), our sponsors (St!ffi, Exalt, and The Lifestyle Clothing Co.), supporters (CCM and MCB), and the folks at PBC and CFOA staff. Also a big thanks to Tig from Freakshow for helping make this event happen.
